Xiaoqiao is a London-based experimental harpist and vocalist, weaving hypnotic vocals and harp through modern electronic textures to conjure transcendental lucid dreamscapes.
Xiaoqiao have been commissioned live at leading institutions including Lisson Gallery for Anish Kapoor, V&A East Museum, Zaha Hadid Gallery, ICA, 180 Studios x Vinyl Factory’s REVERB. She has been featured by i-D and Vogue as "emerging artist" "on the rise".
This spellbinding night celebrates the launch of Xiaoqiao’s debut EP Weltschmerz—described by Clash Magazine as “an impressionistic, hazy, enchanting oasis of calm.” For one night only, the old church will be transformed into a dream-space of Elysium, with air gently scented by the sensuous Jouissance Parfums, guiding you into celestial dreams. Xiaoqiao will perform the EP in full, alongside new, unreleased pieces, joined by a live organist. The evening opens with a support performance by experimental cellist Ramilda.
