Join sissy in this celebration of her recently published book Therapy: the basics and hear from some new and established voices in the therapy field, describing their unique approaches and take on the book.
The evening will consist of 10min talks and/or readings from the book with the themes of black feminisms in psychotherapy, what integration of theories means, the transpersonal and the relational, embodied theories and kinetic theories, reconnecting with the radical roots of the person-centred approach, the concept and value of care and more.
Some confirmed speakers are: Roz Carroll, Paul Christelis, Rachael Cowie, Karmela Jones, Suzanne Keys, Lynne Segal, Spiros Philippas - more tbc!
