About the event
The Near Tide are a London-based ambient indie rock band, blending delicate vocals with expansive, cinematic soundscapes built from swirling guitars, synths and electronic percussion. Their sound sits between electro-folk and indie rock, drawing comparisons to Daughter and Bon Iver.
They have a strong live track record across London, including headline slots at O2 Academy2 Islington, The Waiting Room (N16), Strongroom and The Finsbury, as well as shows at 93 Feet East, Fiddler's Elbow and Brixton Jamm. Their sets are versatile, moving between upbeat, energetic tracks and more emotive, slower songs.
Recent releases include EP 1 (31 January 2025) and Before the Snow (5 December 2025). Their most-streamed tracks, Torn Out (90k streams) and Seep (40k streams), have accumulated over 130k streams in total. They have been featured by Indie Folk Central and interviewed on the Music Fishbowl podcast.
