About the event
Simone Salvatici
Simone is a fully qualified Sound Therapist, musician and composer, who specialises in the use of gongs, Himalayan and crystal bowls, tuning forks, synthesizers and string instruments.
Simone has studied under masters of the craft such as Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux, sacred music Maestro Manuel Minguillon, Sitar guru Pandit Shivnath Mishra and at a number of prestigious academy programs, including Music and the Performative Arts University of Florence and The British Academy of Sound Therapy UK.
Simone has also received Kriya Yoga and Nada Yoga training, in India and London and he often incorporates these practices into his sound experiences.
Through his sound practice, Simone aims to expand consciousness to a higher level (Altered State of Consciousness), believing that holistic resonance has the capacity to combine the spiritual experience of contemplation with the ecstatic feelings of well-being, therefore, facilitating release, energetic shifts, self-healing and reconnection with inner truth.
A multi-instrumentalist and composer influential within Drone and Ambient music, Simone is passionate about blurring the boundaries between sound art and sound healing. He has released many records and performed in venerable venues such as London’s Tate Modern, Tate Britain, ICA, Sadler’s Well Theatre, Royal College of Art, and Natural History Museum.
