About the event
We are hosting a fundraiser in support of our friend Rasha and her four children in Gaza.
Rasha is a remarkable entrepreneur who built a digital marketing agency in Gaza City, creating livelihoods for 55 freelancers working with overseas employers. Since the escalation of violence, she and her family have been forced to flee South, sometimes displaced four times in a single week. Right now, they urgently need funds to access medical care, food, and basic necessities, all of which are scarce and increasingly expensive. One day, as safety returns, Rasha hopes to rebuild her business and her community.
The evening will feature Palestinian food provided by The Open Door Community Kitchen, with music and curation from local collectives Mutual Motion and Ill Fitted. Come together for a day of solidarity, dancing, and community.
