GONG MEDITATION. SUMMER SOLSTICE: SURROUND SOUND IMMERSION

A special Sound Journey and sound meditation to mark the highest peak of Summer.

I warmly invite you to join me for an exceptional gathering, the Summer Solstice, at the Old Church.

Join us for a special celebration of the Summer Solstice at the historic Old Church in Stoke Newington. Experience the powerful resonance of multiple gong players as we mark the peak of the sun's trajectory.

This special Sound journeying is a ceremony where the space will have an intention for self-reflection and co-creation through sound. After a short guided relaxation, a meditative soundscape will be created with the sounds of different planetary Gongs Earth and Sun, Himalayan Bowls, Bells, Conch, flutes and more.

These instruments with different vibrations, textures, qualities and harmonics can facilitate, relaxation and an altered state of consciousness (ASC).

Many types of research show that staying in ASC for a prolonged amount of time may encourage a softening of the ego state, therefore, welcoming more unified thinking, self-awareness, openness, creativity, energetic shifts and in a physical domain lowering blood pressure and specific chemical in the blood such as stress hormone cortisol level.

This event is limited to 40 people and registration is required.

Everybody is welcome. Come in bringing an intention within you.

You do not need to have any knowledge or experience with meditation.

Please come in warm clothes, bring a mat and a blanket.
