About the event
Join us for a completely different concert experience from promoter NW Live Arts as they explore the creative ways that we can connect and communicate through music from different cultures.
Seamlessly blending music from Europe, India and the Middle East, this event will leave the audience's hearts full and their preconceptions challenged, as five extraordinary artistsdemonstrate the remarkable communicative power of music. They will also give the world premiere of a newly composed piece by Effy Efthymiou for this unusual ensemble, commissioned for this concert by NW Live Arts.
NW Live Arts will explore cultural connections further in a one-day music and storytelling workshop for members of London’s diverse community, with participants from partner organisations, Freedom from Torture, Holborn Community Association and St John’s Waterloo.
NW Live Arts promotes the artistic excellence of highly dedicated musicians and shares this with a wide community. In their events, they celebrate the individual qualities of different instruments and the powerful, expressive artistic dialogue that can be created by cross-genre and mixed media programming.
